These general sales conditions apply to all trading relationships between Estudio Carme Pinós, SLP (hereinafter referred to as “OBJECTS”) and you, the client, and shall come into effect from the moment you accept and agree to these conditions by buying through our website at www.object.es

In compliance with provisions set forth in Article 10 Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and e-Commerce, the legal information of the company that owns the website at www.objects.es is the following:

Terms of sale

The item(s) shall be bought exclusively through the website at

www.objects.es

by following all required steps involved in placing an order and by filling out all mandatory fields. None of these items can be purchased through another website or store. 

Once the order has been placed, it will be automatically acknowledged by an email confirming the purchase, and will include the following information: order reference number, client details, invoice details, delivery / reception mode, payment mode, price display and order summary. Please, make sure to check all the order details as you will be responsible for any additional charge that may result from changes in the order.

Prices and Payment Conditions

All prices for the products and services in OBJECTS are specified clearly on the website and are shown in your order confirmation. All prices include VAT, and will be displayed at the end of your purchase process. You will receive your order invoice at the moment the order is delivered to you. Please make sure to keep it safe in the event of future claims.

OBJECTS only accepts advanced payment of purchases through virtual POS or bank transfer. If you have selected to pay by bank transfer, when you have placed your order you will receive an email confirming your purchase, including the bank details for the transfer. Orders will be automatically cancelled if the payment is not received within 10 calendar days starting from the date the order is placed. Please include your Order Number when filling out the bank transfer form.

We reserve the right to change prices displayed for products on our website at any time.

Delivery Terms

If you have selected courier delivery, estimated delivery time frame will be indicated on the website during the purchase process, the effectiveness will start once purchase order item confirmed.

If you have selected to pick up your order in our showroom, you will receive a delivery confirmation email – within the time frame indicated on the website once purchased – informing on delivery date and time.

If you have selected delivery and assembly services by OBJECTS, we will notify you by email – within the time frame indicated on the website – on delivery and assemble times.

If the items in your Shopping Basket have different delivery dates, all items will be grouped and delivered together as soon as they are ready to be dispatched.

If you wish to receive each item separately, you must place separate orders for each of them.

Delivery dates may be delayed due to reasons beyond our control. In this event, OBJECTS will send you an email to notify and keep you informed about this delay. However, whilst every effort will be made to achieve the stated delivery date, any delay shall not give rise to the right to claim compensation or damages.


Delivery Options

- Courier Delivery
OBJECTS makes the delivery of your order easier by offering the services of UPS courier delivery. Delivery costs will be automatically displayed in Your Basket once you choose your delivery option and address. These costs will also appear in your invoice. For deliveries to countries not included in the list provided, please contact OBJECTS at shop@objects.esWe will inform you on the possibility of shipping your order and on all delivery options and costs.

Once OBJECTS has handed over your order to UPS couriers for delivery, you will receive an email notifying that the delivery process has begun, along with a Tracking Number that will allow you to track and get information on your delivery status through the company’s website at www.ups.com.

Deliveries will always be made to the address you specified as Delivery Address during the order process. OBJECTS will not be held liable for any failure to deliver due to incorrect or incomplete delivery address details, after unsuccessful delivery attempts by the courier company. In the case of wrong delivery address, delivery will have an additional charge of 5 €/delivery, which will be invoiced by bank transfer following UPS stated additional costs. Finally, in the case the order cannot be delivered, delivery costs, plus a 4.75 € fee will be charged by bank transfer.  In the event of custom sale taxes or any other fees arising at the delivery destination, it is full responsibility of the client to ensure payment of these fees. Failure to meet these fees will result in an additional 9.35 €, in addition to delivery costs and other applicable charges.

Please open all goods in front of the courier upon delivery to ensure that there are no visible signs of damaged, missing or incorrect pieces. In the event of any damage or missing items, write them down in the delivery receipt before signing. You have 24h to notify these damages to OBJECTS, who will proceed with the relevant procedures. Once this time limit has been exceeded, OBJECTS will not be held responsible for any damages.

- Transport and Assembly by OBJECTS
If you wish, OBJECTS offers the possibility of assembling your order in the place you choose, provided the address is in Barcelona or within Barcelona’s metropolitan area. If you have selected this service, you will receive an email from OBJECTS to agree on a day and time for assembly, within delivery times specified during the order procedure.

Once you have introduced your postal code, the minimum charge for this service will appear displayed in Your Basket, including delivery costs and 2 hours assembly work by a trained assembly-worker and assistant. In the event that assembly time exceeds 2 hours, exceeding time will be charged at the end of the service at 53 €/hour (VAT included).

- Pick-up at the OBJECTS Showroom
If you select to pick up your order at the OBJECTS showroom, you will previously receive an email from OBJECTS to agree on a date and time by which you can collect your order. Products may come packaged in several boxes. If you wish, you may contact OBJECTS at shop@objects.es in order to check package weight and sizes within the delivery dates specified during your purchase process.

- Returns and Changes
If you wish to return all or some of the items you purchased online, you must notify your decision to OBJECTS within 7 working days by emailing shop@objects.es . For any return which is not due to a damage or mistake on behalf of OBJECTS, all courier costs will be charged to the client, as well as all administration costs which represent 10% approx. of sales value. The products returned must be undamaged, unassembled and unused, and must be returned in their original packaging and with the original labels. We recommend you guarantee safe delivery, as OBJECTS will not be liable for damaged or lost deliveries. Provided the products are returned to OBJECTS undamaged, we will refund the price paid for the product, following the original payment procedure and deducting applicable expenses.

The size and colors of all OBJECTS items are estimated. For specific cases, verify the information with our technical department at info@cpinos.com. Return costs due to this or similar causes will be met by the client.
 

Warranty

All OBJECTS products carry a 2-YEAR limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. In the event of a defective product, OBJECTS will proceed, as appropriate, to repair or replace the product, with no charge to the client. 

To make assembly easier, simple assembly instructions are included with the OBJECTS, together with the pieces, iron fittings and – in some cases – the tools needed to assemble the product. Moreover, to help achieve a correct installation, a drilling template marking the exact points where the holes must be drilled into the wall is also provided. These instructions are also available in PDF format at the OBJECTS website. If you need them, all you have to do is click on the specific object and download the file.

You can also find the instructions online at the website, where you can follow step-by-step assembly instructions in a dynamic, interactive manner. For any doubts or problems during the assembly process, please contact us by sending an email to info@objects.es.

OBJECTS are basically made out of steel and wood. These are both highly versatile and adaptable materials, which combine resistance and workability, all of them perfect properties which accurately define the philosophy behind OBJECTS.

The materials have different finishes depending on the items and, in some cases, the item may be available in different finishes.

STEEL

1) Steel. Finishes with Akzo Nobel – Interpon d Noir paint. An ultra-durable powder coating with metallic effects and resistant to outdoor conditions. It is available in several colors depending on the OBJECTS.

1.1) NOIR 2100 Sablé YW359F. Available for MONI, MONI-K, SIRAP 100, SIRAP grey, LIZA, LIZA-P, AR-K, ME-K and VIA.

1.2) NOIR 150 Sablé SW310F. Available for SIRAP grey.

2) Steel. Varnish Finish. A colorless varnish is applied to the black plate, protecting the steel and highlighting the natural textures and waves of color of this material. Available for MONI and MONI-K. 

3) Steel. Matt Paint Finish. A powder coating applied to the surface of the steel plate, which gives both color and protection to the piece. Available in several colors depending on the OBJECTS.

3.1) Black Paint RAL 9017 Matt Finish. Available for NIMO set.

3.2) White Paint RAL 9016 Mattt Finish. Available for NIMO set and MONI.

3.3) Yellow Paint RAL 1023 Matt Finish. Available for SIRAP set (60 cm).

3.4) Red Paint RAL 3020 Matt Finish. Available for SIRAP set (90 cm).

3.5) Blue Paint RAL 5017 Matt Finish.  Available for SIRAP set (120 cm).

WOOD

1) Solid Beech Wood with Varnish Finish. Beech wood is very strong and has a good workability, properties which together with its color and texture make it a fine hardwood. Finished with a colorless varnish which provides strong protection against damage. Available for LIZA.

2) Solid Ash Tree Wood with Varnish Finish. Very strong wood with a diverse grain pattern. It has a coarse uniform texture and is generally fairly straight-grained. A colorless varnish is applied to enhance protection. Available for ME-K.

3) Solid Cedar Wood with Varnish Finish. Light and resistant wood, its colors range from pinkish brown to light red with lighter sapwood.  Medium straight grain sometimes slightly intertwined. Finished in colorless varnish. Available for VIA.

4) Laminated Birch Wood. Laminated wood is a highly versatile material composed of several layers of wood which offer a perfect balance between weight and resistance.  Available in several finishes depending on the product.

4.1) HPL Finish – White Formica. Available for ME-K.

4.2) Varnish Finish. Available for AR-K large and AR-K small.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish Law and any dispute arising of or in connection with the interpretation, implementation or enforcement of the same will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Barcelona, Spain. By accepting the terms and conditions set out in this legal notice, the client submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of these Courts.
